- What is the Preferred Format?
To produce the best quality artwork, we require the artwork to be created in a drawing/vector image program such as Adobe Illustrator. This allows us to print Artwork correctly, when we are working between printing & cutting. This also allows us to change any last minute changes to the supplied artwork. Images need to be submitted as AI, EPS, Press Quality PDF and high resolution JPEG ( A minimum of 300dpi), Images that are linked within a document must be included or the images must be embedded in the document If files are not submitted in these formats or they are not set up correctly they will be charged at $25.00 to fix the problem. On the event that the file is not submitted correctly and supplied artwork is printed Cityscape Design and Print will not be liable for any reprints. It will be printed at the clients cost.

- Fonts
We require a copy of all fonts used in the document in order to reproduce it accurately. If fonts are not supplied we cannot guarantee that the fonts used for output will match those in the document. Ensure that both the screen font and the printer font are included. If fonts are not supplied, the text MUST be converted to outlines or paths.

- Supplying your logo
Any logos included in the document should be supplied as vector drawn images, not bitmap images. i.e. They need to be made up in a drawing program such as Illustrator this ensures that the image remains crisp and clear no matter what size the image is. If required we are able to recreate the logos from your supplied artwork at a cost of $180.00 min 2 hours.

- What's Bleed?
Bleed is a safe area within the print, we require 3mm Internal and 3mm External bleed to be supplied within your document. For example if you want your document to be 90mm x 55mm finished size, you add 3mm to each side (external Bleed) this makes your finished size 96mm x 61mm. The reason for this external bleed is to allow for cutting variation. Inner bleed is a 3mm space from the edge of your document into your printable image, no text is to enter this 3mm (internal bleed) this allows for a nice space within your cards incase of cutting variation. - Colour Proofs
Unless specifically asked for, proofs will be in a 4 colour process. Any Spot/PMS colours will be matched as closely as possible in 4 colours but not exactly. If an exact PMS colour is needed then an extra fee will occur. This fee may vary, an electronic proof is available as a PDF, but is view only and Acrobat Reader is required to view it. Please note however colours that are projected on the screen do not 100% accurately represent the colours that print at the time of printing.
